Climate and Clothing

Temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C. It is warm, especially in early fall, but can cool rapidly in November.
Okinawa is 20°C to 28°C.
Clothing should include a light jacket, sweater, or cloak. Long-sleeved shirts, light sweaters, jeans or light pants are appropriate.

Nokonoshima Island Park (Nokonoshima, Fukuoka)

A vast natural park with seasonal flowers.

This is the great autumn festival of Suwa Shrine held every year in early October.

Saga International Balloon Fiesta

It is a major autumn event in Saga Prefecture.
Athletes from around the world gather to compete in early November.
There are also various other event venues and gourmet foods to enjoy.
The balloons at night with music playing are also very magical.

Takachiho Gorge (Miyazaki)

It is a famous power spot where you can experience the magnificent nature of the four seasons.
It is also a mystical place with many shrines from old myths.

Nabeketaki Waterfall (Kumamoto)

It is a rare waterfall where the beautiful waterfall can be viewed from the back side.
If you visit early in the morning, you can see the glow of a curtain of light on the waterfall.
You can also see the waterfall illuminated for a limited time in spring.

Sogi Waterfall (Kagoshima)

The waterfall is 210 meters wide and 12 meters high, making it a powerful waterfall.
