Climate and Clothing

Temperatures range from 25 to 35 degrees Celsius with occasional high temperatures and humidity. Okinawa ranges from 25 to 33 degrees.
Clothing should include light shirts, t-shirts, shorts, and cool materials. Hats and sunscreen are also important.

Shuri Castle (Okinawa)

Shuri Castle, with its beautiful bright vermilion color, is a symbol of the former Ryukyu Kingdom.
It is also a World Heritage site.
It has a history and culture quite different from that of the mainland, and its graceful and majestic stone walls are also unique to Japanese castles.

Ishigaki Island (Okinawa)

Surrounded by rich nature, "Ishigaki Island" is full of attractions.
It is also one of the best manta points in the world, with emerald green waters and colorful tropical fish.

Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium (Okinawa)

Churaumi" is an Okinawan dialect word meaning "clear sea.
The rich Okinawan sea is reproduced, and whale sharks and manta rays can be observed in a huge aquarium tank.
It is one of the popular tourist spots with dolphin shows and other attractions.

Zamami Island (Okinawa)

Zamami Island is one of the Kerama Islands (Kerama) located 40 km west of Naha City.
It takes about 50 minutes from Naha Port by high-speed boat.
The clear and beautiful Keramas blue sea attracts divers from all over the world.

Yakushima (Kyushu)

The world's most spectacular nature since time immemorial.
It has been registered as a World Heritage site in recognition of its outstanding natural environment, including the thousands of year-old Yakusugi cedar trees.
This is a sightseeing spot where visitors can enjoy the great outdoors, including a forest of ferns and mosses that is said to have served as a model for the Ghibli film.
Trekking tours are also available.

Hakata Gion Yamakasa (Fukuoka)

It is a traditional and historic summer festival and is a "UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage" event.
Held every year in early July, the festival is lined with gorgeous decorative Yamakasa floats in several locations in the city,
From the latter half of the festival, it turns into a dynamic festival that runs through the city of Hakata.
