The study period at a vocational school is 2 years (3 years in some schools). To take the examination, you must have JLPT N2 (to N3). Some schools require English scores (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELS, etc.) to study English. Graduation from a professional training college will give you the title of "Diplomat", and you will be able to work in the field that you studied in Japan.
