Temperature and Clothing

Temperatures range from about 20 to 30 degrees Celsius or higher.
The days are often hot and humid. Light clothing is required, but a light cardigan or jacket may be necessary in air-conditioned areas.
Due to the high humidity in Kansai, it rains frequently. It is recommended that you bring a folding umbrella and a waterproof coat.

Kumano Taisha Shrine and Nachi Falls (Wakayama)

Nachi Falls is a World Heritage Site.
At the end of the Kumano Kodo trail, surrounded by mysterious greenery, lies Nachi Falls.
The power of this 133m waterfall is immense.

Green Park Santo Amanogawa (Shiga Prefecture)

Maibara City is located on the eastern side of Lake Biwa, the world's largest lake.
This place is known as the birthplace of fireflies, a natural monument.
The Firefly Festival is held from the end of May to early June, with stalls and events starting around noon for everyone to enjoy.

Kinosaki Marine World (Kinosaki)

An experiential aquarium with a full range of attractions where you can enjoy interacting with sea creatures, including dolphin and sea lion shows, walks with penguins, and feeding experiences.

Shirahama Adventure World (Wakayama)

It is a theme park that combines a zoo, aquarium and amusement park.
You can interact with animals, enjoy the amusement park, and there are hot springs and the sea nearby.
It is also a place where you can meet pandas.

Atomic Bomb Dome and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park (Hiroshima)

The Atomic Bomb Dome is a World Heritage Site and a place to think about peace.
