The temperature is about 10 to 20 degrees Celsius.
The climate is mild. A light jacket or sweater is sufficient, but it can get cold at night, so bring a light coat.

Osaka Castle Park (Osaka)

The Spring Festival is held every year from late February to April, where you can enjoy the plum and cherry blossoms.

Osaka Mint Bureau

For one week only in mid-April, you can see over 300 cherry trees of 140 varieties within the grounds of the Mint Bureau.
It is famous as the "Cherry Blossom Passage." Advance reservations are required.

Osaka Maishima Seaside Park

Approximately one million nemophila flowers bloom in full glory, and the Nemophila Festival is held in April.
The view of Osaka Bay and the blue sky is spectacular.

Maruyama Park (Kyoto)

Maruyama Park is a vast park located in Higashiyama, Kyoto.
It is also an old garden famous for its weeping cherry blossoms.
The cherry blossoms are in full bloom from early to mid-April, and the illumination at night creates a fantastical beauty.

Kinkakuji Temple (Kyoto)

Sanjusangendo (Kyoto)

You can see the national treasure Buddha statue and the thousand-armed Kannon Bodhisattva statues along with the cherry blossoms.
There is an admission fee, but the cherry blossoms in the beautiful garden are very picturesque.
