Clover Academy Speech Contest & Culture Festival

The other day, Clover Academy, a Japanese language school in Yotsubashi, Osaka, held a speech contest and cultural festival.
One student each from the beginner/intermediate course and the intermediate/advanced course participated in the speech contest as representatives, and the students were able to demonstrate the results of their daily studies and deliver speeches with confidence and dignity.
For their speeches, each student chose a topic of their choice and spoke passionately about it in Japanese.

[Speech topic]

"It all works out in the end."
"About my country, Myanmar"
"Impressions of Japan"
"Japanese convenience stores" etc.

Memorize your script thoroughly and present with confidence!
The presenters came from a variety of countries, including China, Myanmar, and Nepal, making it a valuable opportunity to hear speeches from many different countries.

The students in the audience sympathized with the speeches, in which they frankly talked about their feelings about coming to Japan. When they said, "Japanese convenience stores are really convenient!" the judges and teachers were all nodding in agreement.

All the students performed with confidence and showed the results of their hard work.
Everyone was absolutely amazing!

In the afternoon, each class gave a performance at the school festival.
All the classes practiced a lot for this presentation.
Each class used various creative methods to put on a fun performance, including classes that sang in choruses or in groups, classes that showed sign language to go with sweets, classes that sang using props, classes that sang while playing guitar, and classes that did dances that mixed different types of music.

We tell students that at Clover Academy's school festival, it's not just about putting on your own performance, but it's also important for you to watch and cheer on the performances of other classes.
I'm sure the difficulties and fun you experienced in preparing will become fond memories.

Through this speech contest and school festival, the students were able to fully demonstrate the results of their Japanese language studies and create wonderful memories with their classmates. The speeches were filled with words filled with emotion, and the school festival saw a performance that showed the unity of the class.

Through this experience, some people may have realized their own growth, while others may have discovered the joy of new challenges. Although what each person gained may be different, each was a valuable step forward. Let's continue to learn and take on new challenges together!

Thank you so much to everyone at Clover Academy for your hard work!
